Hydraulic Substation Noise Reduction – Acoustiblok Inc. was contacted by the Service Authority of Prince William County in Virginia about reducing the pump noise at one of their substation odor control units. After speaking with one of our noise abatement specialists, they were able to develop a solution to the problem.

Acoustiblok’s patented All Weather Sound Panels, with a rating of STC 37, were installed on three sides of the pump area.

According to the Acoustiblok consultant on the project, the customers are very pleased with the results as well as the finished look.
